Zama Jersey is five years old in 2010.

Zama is a family business started by Peter and Glyn Mitchell in 2005.

Glyn. Is an traditional jeweller, trained in Hatton Gaden in London. Glyn worked at Kempson and Mauger from 1992- 1996. During that time won numerous awards with the London Goldsmiths Company. In 1995, was given a commission to make a 18ct Gold and Plique a Jour enamelled 12 piece tea set for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. This in turn won Glyn the Freedom of the Goldsmiths Hall and the Freedom of the City of London.

In 1995 Glyn discovered Art Clay Silver when the shrinkage was 15+%. Since then has set up Quick Silver which over 5 years has introduced over 500 plus individuals to Art Clay Silver who are now actively using the products Zama sell.

In 2005 we secured the distribution rights for the Channel Islands and the UK to sell Art Clay Silver. 

In 2009 Zama held the Art Clay Uk Conference in Jersey and had instructors and individuals from 6 countries attending.

The new decade brings us new produts to distribute. Polyform products including Sculpey and Premo are now available for small users and Wholsale orders. With our realistic pricing and discount policies, we aim to supply, support and develop Polyform in the UK.
